Firefox 1.5.0.5 is now available. It includes important fixes for Intel-based Macs that make Page Saver work much better now than when we released it last month.
Today we released Pearl Crescent Page Saver, a free extension for Mozilla Firefox. Page Saver uses the new canvas feature that was introduced in Firefox 1.5 to render web pages as images (full size, thumbnail, or anything in between) and save them to disk. My primary desktop computer runs Windows XP. To make XP more tolerable, I keep a bunch of free or inexpensive utilities close at hand. Most of these get carried on CD or memory stick to assist in troubleshooting other people’s computers too.
